Pebble Pathways – Inclusive Neurodivergent Support in Scotland
About Our Community-Based Forest schools
Our out-of-school Forest School groups offer children and families a calm, enriching space to reconnect, with nature, themselves, and each other. Rooted in evidence-based outdoor learning practices, these sessions nurture emotional well-being, confidence, and resilience through regular, child-led experiences in natural settings.
Each child is supported as an individual, free to explore at their own pace while building essential life skills such as emotional regulation, problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking. Guided by qualified practitioners, children engage in meaningful activities like shelter building, nature-based crafts, safe tool use, and cooperative games, developing independence and confidence in a low-pressure, high-trust environment.
These skills extend far beyond the forest, supporting children’s everyday lives at home, in school, and in their relationships. Families often notice their children becoming more emotionally settled, self-assured, and better equipped to handle daily challenges.
Children thrive when supported by consistent, caring adults in a space that celebrates their curiosity, autonomy, and imagination, laying a strong foundation for lifelong well-being and success.
